The gateway to long-distance trail running in high mountains

The Balcon des Cimes is the most accessible format of the event, yet remains a true mountain trail.

The route leaves Val-Cimes via forest trails before gradually ascending to the alpine pastures. Crossing the Grand Balcon pass marks the highest point of the race and offers a spectacular view of the massif’s main peaks.

The second half is faster, alternating along high-altitude trails and rapid descents before returning to the village.

An ideal format for discovering the Hautes Cimes or preparing for a first ultra experience.
