350 volunteers to welcome you

Over 350 volunteers will be on hand to bring the Trail des Cimes to life. From aid stations to the finish line, our volunteers are essential to the event's success. A huge thank you to them!

Behind every edition of the Trail des Cimes, there are hundreds of people who give their time, energy, and good spirits to ensure runners have a great adventure.

This year, over 350 volunteers will be mobilized throughout the duration of the event, and even several days before the first start.

Locals from the valley, members of local associations and sports clubs, families, students, or mountain enthusiasts: their backgrounds are diverse, but they all share the same desire to make the Trail des Cimes come alive.

Present at every stage of your adventure

You’ll meet them as soon as you arrive in Val-Cimes, at race bib collection points and in the start corrals. You’ll find them again along the routes, sometimes in particularly remote spots.

Some will spend the night manning a high-altitude aid station, others will guide runners at intersections or help secure tricky passages.

And of course, they’ll be there to welcome you at the finish line, with a smile, a few words of encouragement, and sometimes a blanket to warm you up.

So much more than just logistical support

The volunteers are the heart and soul of the Trail des Cimes. Their knowledge of the valley, their hospitality, and their enthusiasm help create the warm atmosphere we strive to preserve year after year.

Organizing a mountain event is a true collective challenge. Without their commitment, none of this would be possible.

So, during your race, don’t hesitate to greet them with a smile or a simple thank you. These small gestures mean the world.

To everyone who will be by our side this year: a huge thank you!
