Enhanced shuttle service this year

To make your journey to Val-Cimes easier and reduce traffic in the valley, we’re increasing our free shuttle service. More frequent runs will connect the train station, accommodations, and the start village.

Hosting several thousand runners and supporters in a mountain valley presents a real challenge, particularly in terms of transportation.

For this new edition of the Trail des Cimes, we have therefore decided to strengthen our transport arrangements to make it easier for you to reach Val-Cimes while reducing the number of vehicles on the valley’s roads.

Free shuttle service from Friday to Sunday

In partnership with local stakeholders, additional shuttle routes will be set up between Saint-Pierre-des-Alpes train station, located 18 km from Val-Cimes, and the event village.

The shuttles will also serve several accommodation areas in the valley, making it easy for participants and their supporters to reach the main event locations.

Schedules will be tailored to the key moments of the weekend: race bib collection, starts of the various races, and participant finishes.

Opt for public transport

We encourage all participants who can do so to reach the valley by train and then use the free shuttle service provided for them.

For those arriving by car, temporary parking will be set up on the outskirts of Val-Cimes. The village center will be closed to traffic during the event to ensure the safety of runners and spectators.

A more environmentally friendly event

The Trail des Cimes takes place in an exceptional natural environment that we are committed to preserving.

Reducing car traffic is one of the concrete actions we are taking to minimize the event’s impact, alongside our efforts in waste management, course marking, and respect for the areas crossed.

Detailed shuttle schedules, stop locations, and parking information will be published shortly in the Practical Info section.

Thank you all for contributing, in your own way, to a more responsible Trail des Cimes.
